It sometimes felt like we were cattle, moving en masse wherever we were led. At 15 we jumped through the first hoop (of many to come), and passed through one-way doors that pretty much determined the rest of our lives. God help those who were left behind...

My beef with Indian education

In January 2006 I made a trip to my home city of Mumbai, India. I had an itch to scratch. Something that had chafed for years, and will continue to do so for many more years to come. It's almost like I need it to fuel my battle-cry.

And so I spoke to a few people.

The Beginning Of My Vertical Narrative

If I were to take stock of the years I have accumulated so far, I can chart distinct markers of sights and sounds that have brought me to these co-ordinates. Most were never recorded except in memory, and hence my attempts at re-visiting them are abstracted through media and of course, my practice.

This is a small representative sample of where I choose to focus my lens.
